Floor Repair System

Description

DE-450 Floor Repair Compound is a Polymer modified epoxy based compound having good Mechanical Properties.

Applications

Designed for use on concrete as well as metal parts. Typical uses are repairs of damaged floors, repairs of rotary or stationary equipment foundation repairs, resurfacing of the industrial floors. Since it has abrasion resistant it can be used for heavy duty applications on industrial floors and can be used in metal parts or equipments in tandem with suitable system.

Advantages

Easy to use and apply, can bond to metal as well as concrete surfaces, abrasion resistantance, excellent bond strength, minimum downtime with ease of application, suitable for vertical applications, chemical resistant.

Surface Preparation
  • The surface must be cleaned thoroughly. If contaminated with oil or grease, use solvents to clean the surface properly.
  • For damp or moisture surfaces, forced drying should be resorted. surface properly.
  • Use mechanical equipments like scarifier or floor polishing machine before application for achieving required anchorage.
  • Excessive scarifying may result in reduced coverage.
Mixing Instructions
  • It is strongly recommended that full units be mixed.
  • Add part 'B' into part 'A'. mix it thoroughly and add part 'C'; in stipulated ratio.
  • Mix thoroughly with screwdriver or similar tool (continuously scrape material away from sides and bottom of container) uniform.
  • Large batch mixing: Use a propeller-type Jiffy Mixer on an electric drill. Mix until homogenous.
